British Championship Cadet and Pre-Cadet results

A small team from Clyde Judo was down in Sheffield on the 7/8 December 2013 for the British Championships for Cadets and Pre-Cadets.

All of the team performed well and we achieved the club’s best ever results at the British Championships.

The results were:

  • Erin Peden – Cadet U44kg – Silver
  • Christopher Love – Pre-Cadet U50kg – Silver
  • Louis Saez – Pre-Cadet U66kg – Bronze

Even those who were not in the medals performed very well and added to the club’s reputation.

We have a picture here of the medallists with the coaches:

Mass Charity Judo Session With Neil Adams MBE in Aid Of The Josh Gavin Foundation

There will be a mass charity Judo Session with Neil Adams in aid of the Josh Gavin Foundation on Sunday 15th December 2013 over at the Police College in Tullialline.

This is a great opportunity for all club players to practice on the largest matted area in the whole of Scotland with one of British Judo’s greats*. Neil will be highlighting his newly designed enhanced judo training equipment, and you can try it out on the day see  www.naeffectivefighting.com  for more details.

The day will be focused around the club player, encouraging participation, meeting new judoka, having fun and raising some money for charity.

There will be instruction by Neil Adams and top Scottish coaches. So, come along, have fun, learn something new, meet new friends and raise money for a great man and a great cause.

No need to book just turn up.

It would be helpful if you were to let Susie know if you plan to go so that she can let the organisers know the rough numbers.

All donations (£5 per player if you can afford it) will go directly to “The Josh Gavin Foundation”.

There will be three sessions:

0930 – 1100   8 – 10 year olds
