Jan writes,
As a little fundraiser, as part of the Clyde Challenge 2012 we will be holding a tombola. To enable this we would be extremely grateful if families from the club would consider donating small prizes. It doesn’t need to be anything large – just wee prizes that would appeal to children or adults attending the event, and encourage them to purchase tombola tickets.
Jan Green (Christopher, Laura and Michael’s mum) or Susie would be happy to accept donations to the tombola at any of the club training sessions
between now and the event.
Many thanks in anticipation.
So, please go and have a rummage in the cupboard – that luck dip prize from the office Christmas party; that unopened bottle of strange blue liquid that you brought back from holiday – we don’t mind; please dig it out and give it to Jan for the tombola.
Congratulations to Christopher Love who has won Bronze in the Heart of England B-band U42kg category.
This is a significant win in a major competition.
Susie sent us a photograph of Christopher with Olympian Winston Gordon.
And here is Christopher on the podium.
