A good set of results from the children; with gold for Connor Wilson (polishing off what has been an outstanding year) and Rachel Towle winning both gold and the Grand Prix prize in B band U32kg. Very well done both of you!
All worked hard and we enjoyed a well-run and fun competition.
Some podium shots:
One of the downsides of running bleeding edge beta software on one’s laptop is that sometimes it breaks.
Yesterday was one of those occasions and instead of posting the results from the weekend, I spent the evening fixing stuff and now I’m posting things in the wrong order.
Anyway, I have sorted out the podium shots and uploaded them to the web site but it will be tomorrow before I manage to post them and the results.
Sorry!
So, here are some of the photographs from the BBQ on Saturday.
It was, to put it mildly, a little bit chilly, even for Inverness. Fortunately, the food and company more than made up for that and adults and kids had a good time.
Start planning for next year!
Just a reminder that training sessions at Bishopton are cancelled this weekend.
The next training session will be at Erskine on Tuesday 22 May 2012.
Podium shots from the 2012 Scottish Mini Mon competition.
Thanks to Iain for these.
It’s been a busy few weeks with competitions and this week it was the Scottish 2012 Mini Mon competition held at Meadowbank Sports Centre on Saturday 12th May 2012.
Our good friend Ezri Bradley of WBJC also took Bronze in the A U32kg category.
Apologies for the late update on the 2012 CHAS Grand Prix.
As ever, all of the children from the youngest to the oldest fought well and did their best.
Iain Wilson and Brian Bradley were busy snapping at the podium and provided us with some photos.
Our thanks go to the organisers for a well-run competition at a great venue and in aid of a very worthwhile cause. It’s never too late to donate to Children’s Hospice Association Scotland!
