New Dojo and a Return for Under 18s Judo

Last week (Tuesday 27th April) as restrictions relaxed, Clyde Judo formally opened the doors to our new permanent Dojo, located in Clark St, Paisley – welcoming judoka under 18 back to indoor sport.

Several new players took to the tatami for the first time this evening, joining a full house of returning members, many of whom commented through out the night their delight at returning to the mat. Head Coach Susan commented, “It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm in the room, and great to be back”.

Celebrating over a decade of success

At the end of the night, Ronnie Saez (CEO of JudoScotland, Chair of the British Judo Association and 6th Dan), a special friend to the club, made a presentation to Head Coach Susan Wright, commending the coaching team on it’s achievements and presenting a certificate commemorating the club’s 10 year anniversary, celebration of which has been on hold due to the pandemic.

Classes for under 18s are now available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with a full schedule available on our Facebook Page. You can Click Here to book a class, or to find out more about Clyde Judo, contact us at:
